MALAYSIA | KUALALUMPUR - THE NEW LOOK OF BATU CAVES

Check out also My accommodation in KL the most comfortable apartment ever , Suria KLCC , makan2 at Jalan Alor before moving onto day 2 at Batu Caves :)

DAY 2 MORNING
221218.06

It was a bright sunny morning 9:30am+. This place had already filled with many tourists and some Hindu prayers. Batu caves is a limestone hill that has a Tamil temple inside the caves and located in Gombak, Selangor, Malaysia.

360 degrees view

In 2018, a renovation was taken placed. As you can see from the picture, the interior of the temple had painted in more brighter colours.

The 272 steps of stairs had also gotten the new look in bright colour scheme with each set of the stairs in different tone.

Rainbow stairs with 42.7-metre (140 ft) high statue of Lord Murugan.

Walking up each of the steps were quite a challenging to me hahaha because the stairs were so narrow, steep and scary.. Perhaps I have slight acrophobia 🤔 lol. idk.

Finally make to the top and the view is spectacular OMG!! As what the quote usually says "Each step may get harder but the top view is beautiful". Totally can't agree more with it lol.

Taking a rest on the rainbow stairway hehe

Entrance of the main cave.

ASNTM cycle 2 ep 2 scene location hehehe..

A Tamil temple that is inside the cave

Many people came to worship to the gods.

This was taken inside the caves.

Another short stairway to another temple.

Sky view from the caves.

Note before visiting the site;
