BUSAN

1. Seomyeon

Seomyeon is the commercial center and it is also the most crowded area of youth where there are many restaurants, shops and underground shopping. It is Seoul version of Hongdae.

2. Nurimaru Apec House

Nurimaru Apec house is Located on Dongbaekseom Island, which is noted for its beautiful, natural landscape accented by dense camellia and pine trees. It has the combination meaning of Nuri (world) and maru (summit) for Apec leader meeting.



- Opening hours : 9:00am - 6:00pm
- Direction : Exit 1 of Dongbaek station or take bus 302 or 307 and alight at the opposite of grand hotel bus stop.

3. Gwangalli beach

Gwangalli beach is one of the best beach in Busan. It is famous for fine sand and seaweeds, accompany with majestic view of Gwangan bridge.

- Direction : Exit 3 or 5 of Gwangan station. Walk 5 mins to the locstion.

4. Haedong Yonggungsa Temple

Haedong Yonggung Temple is a Buddhist temple, that was built by the coast of the north-eastern portion in Gijang-gun, Busan, South Korea.



- Opening hours : 4:00am - 7:00pm


- Direction : Exit 7 of Haeundae station, take bus 181 and alight at Yonggungsa temple bus stop.

5. SongJeong Beach

Songjeong Beach is the ideal beach for families to swim together because of its shallow waters and fine sand.


- Opening hours : 24hours

- Direction : Exit 7 of Haeundae station, take bus no. 39, 63, 100, 181 and alight at Songjeong beach bus station. Or walk once exit from subway station.

- Direction : take bus from Haeundae station no.100 and alight at Yeongnam apartment bus stop and follow the sign.

6. Gukje Market

Gukje Market is one of Korea’s largest markets; each alleyway is crowded with stalls similar to that of Namdaemun Market in Seoul.


- Opening hours : Varies by shop vendors

- Direction : Exit 7 of Jagalchi Station. Go 30m and turn left and walk straight about 5mins to arrive.

7. Nampo-dong street

Nampo-dong is a central commercial and shopping area in Busan. Another favorite districts because in the vicinity of the area, there are markets, Jagalchi, different kinds of brand shops as well as affordable local stores.

A. BIFF Square
- Opening hours : Varies by shop vendors

- Direction : From Gukje Market, walk about 190m to Baeksang Jomyeong. Walk left for about 70m to pizza hut Busan Gwangbok branch. Walk right for 70m to BIFF square.

B. Arirang street
- Direction : Walking distance from BIFF Square.

C. Jalgachi Market
- Direction : Walking distance from BIFF Square.

8. 40 Steps culture and theme street

The time-honored 40-step stairway embodies the joys and sorrows of refugees and those displaced by the Korean War. The entire area has been recently renovated to reflect life in Korea in the 50s and 60s and is expected to become another major tourist spot.
 


- Opening hours : 24hours

- Direction : Exit 13 of Jungangdong station, walk in the direction of Gwangsan hospital 5mins.

9. Lotte Department store rooftop at Gwangbok Branch

Korea's major department store. This Lotte mall that I would like to share is located at Nampo-dong of Gwangbok branch. The rooftop offers awesome view of Busan city.


- Opening hours : 10:30am - 8:00pm

- Direction : exit 7 of Nampo-dong station. Elevate to the 12th floor.

10. Busan Tower

Busan Tower is a symbol of Busan that stands proudly 69 m above sea level at a height of 120 m. Climb the spectacular Busan Tower and see a dramatic panorama of the city around you.


- Opening hours : 10:00am - 11:00pm. Closed on Monday

- Direction : Exit 7 of Nampo-dong station. Go 350m on Gwangbok-ro street towards the Yongdusan park escalator on the right. Or, exit 1 of Nampo-dong station and walk 10mins.

- Direction : Exit 1 of Nampo-dong station, and walk 10 mins.

B. Gwangbok-ro culture & fashion street
- Direction : exit 1 of Nampo-dong station and turn right and walk along Gudeongno22neongil for 2 blocks. Or, board bus no. 9, 8-1,15,17,26,27,35,134,30,2,306,309  and alight at Nampodong and walk along Nampoleum1-gil street.

11. Gamcheon Culture Village

Gamcheon Culture Villiage is formed by houses built in staircase-fashion on the foothills of a coastal mountain. This historically rich, mountainside slum became a famous tourist destination after getting an arty makeover in 2009. It is known as the "Santorini of the East".


- Opening hours : Varies by shops

- Direction : Exit 6 of Toseong station, board local bus saha 1-1,Seogu 2 or Seogu 2-2 to Gamcheon elementary school bus stop.

12. Igidae Park


- Opening hours : 24hours

- Direction : Exit 12 of Choryang station, walk 63m and take bus 27 and alight at Igidae bus stop ( 16 bus stop away). Cross the street and walk 1.08km toward the park.

13. Oryukdo Skywalk

Oryukdo Skywalk is one of the major tourist attractions of Busan. It gives you a spectacular view of the endless blue sea & majestic mountains.


- Opening hours : 9:00am - 6:00pm ( Holiday 12:00pm - 6:00pm)

- Direction : Exit 12 of Choryang station, walk 63m and take bus 27 and alight at Igidae bus stop ( 16 bus stop away). Cross the street and walk 1.08km toward the park entrance bus stop to take 131 and alight at Oryukdo SK View Humun (backgate) and walk 300m to skywalk.

14. Amnam Park

The magnificent cliffs and tree-lined seaside views of Amnam Park bring the harmony of the bluish-green waters and the forested landscape together.


- Opening hours : 24hours

- Direction : Exit 2 of Jagalchi station, turn left at the corner and cross the road. Go 70m to arrive at the bus stop. Take 9 or 71 to alight at Amnam park.

15. Songdo Beach


- Opening hours : 24hours

- Direction : Exit 2 of Jagalchi station. Turn left at the corner, go straight 50m and cross the street to Chungmudonggyocharo bus stop and board bus no 17, 26 or 61 (exit 7 of Busan station) and get off at Songdo Entrance Bus Stop. Or, hike all the way from Amnam park and the bridge by the coast will lead to the beach.

16. Yeojwacheon Stream

The area around Yeojwacheon Stream is well known as one of Jinhae's best spots for viewing cherry blossoms.


- Direction : exit 5 of Sasang station, turn left to Seobu bus terminal. Buy ticket at any counter and board at platform 17 and alight at Jinhae bus stop (last stop).

17. Gyeonghwa Station

Gyeonghwa Station, famous spot for cherry blossom, is a small railway station in Gyeonghwa-dong, Jinhae-gu, Changwon-si, Gyeongsangnam-do. Every year during the Jinhae Gunhang Festival, there is a "cherry blossom festival shuttle train", where you can enjoy the view of lovely flowers in a slow speed train.


- Direction : walk to bus stop opposite Jinhae train and catch a bus  to Gyeonghwa station.
